Hi Nick Brodd here. If your blog posts or book doesn’t stick out, it will not attract an audience. Period.

Research your competition and you will know what’s happening in your market. Don’t and you might risk writing another blog post or book that ends up in the sea of sameness.

There are no shortcuts. You must do your research.

5 years ago my research was a mess. I couldn’t find anything quickly because I’d

  • Print out articles and put them on my desk.
  • Do some browsing and save a few bookmarks in my web browser.
  • Save the files I found online into different file folders.
  • Take notes while reading books and keep them in notebooks.

Everything was scattered. Today Evernote is the digital brain that helps me organize all this in one place.

It’s an awesome productivity tool that enables me to capture and later easily search for critical information in one place. And no matter where I am, Evernote is with me on my computer, phone or tablets.

It simply makes me more organized.

In this video you’ll get a good overview of how it all works.

So if you’re not yet using Evernote, my encouragement for today is to download the free software and test it out a little.

I know this video only scratches the surface. So come back soon and I’ll help you use Evernote and enhance your productivity further.
